Software development
The group has developed Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) for different Binary Collision Approximation (BCA) codes, which simulate processes taking place during ion - surface collisions.
SDTrimSP GUI
SDTrimSP GUI is a graphical user interface for the BCA code SDTrimSP to simulate sputtering, ion implantation and the dynamic effects of ion irradiation

The GUI is publicly available online on github https://github.com/psszabo/SDTrimSP-GUI and distributed under the GPLv3 license.
The GUI is described in the manuscript P. S. Szabo, et al. Nucl. Instrum. Meth. Phys. Res. B 522 (2022) 47.
One condition for free usage of the GUI program is that this manuscript is cited in any publication that presents results achieved with the GUI.
BCA-GUIDE
The BCA-GUIDE (Binary Collision Approximation Graphical User Interface for Displaying and Execution of simulations) is an extension of the SDTrimSP GUI with additional support of the BCA code TRIDYN. Simulations with SDTrimSP and TRIDYN can be executed in parallel and directly compared.

The layout and functionality of this GUI are very similar to the SDTrimSP GUI but improved. A detailed manual for the BCA-GUIDE is provided in the document A. Redl, et al. BCA-GUIDE Manual, TU Wien, https://doi.org/10.34726/3526.
The BCA-GUIDE is freely available on github https://github.com/atomicplasmaphysics/BCA-GUIDE and distributed under the GPLv3 licence.
One condition for free usage of the GUI program is, that the publication of the GUI for SDTrimSP and the manual of the BCA-GUIDE are cited in any publication that presents results achieved with the GUI.
