The MUltipurpose Solid-target Irradiation Chamber (MUSIC) was built both to do irradiations of our own and to host guest experiments. The key features of the MUSIC beamline are:
Currently the beamline is used for irradiation experiments concerning the production of nanostructures on insulating surfaces. Capillary guiding experiments with highly-charged ions using a time-resolved, position-sensitive detector system are also placed here. The recently added collimation track is able of providing ion beams of 250 microns diameter and 1 mrad divergence.
